The first camping trip for the Dancing Turtles Tribe was a big success. Woolly Bear and Singing Bird hosted this first camping trip at their family farm. After setting up camp, the tribe took a hike down to the creek. After a few splashes and a couple near falls, the group headed back to camp for dinner. Hotdogs, sausage, beans... then hot chocolate and smores. The evening was spent telling jokes, sharing stories, burning sparklers, and generally getting to know each other.

After a "good" nights sleep, the tribe was up and at it again. Short Bear and Wooley Bear whipped up some great pancakes. All fed and full of energy, the tribe worked to break camp. I think it is safe to say that the tribe had a wonderful time and is looking forward to our next camping trip. Hopefully this next trip will find all the tribe member in good health (Howling Wolf, Blooming Flower, and Water Lilly - we were thinking of you during the trip!).
