The first meeting of 2007 was hosted by Howling Wolf and Blooming Flower. We had a good story, a cool trick, and a great turtle craft. Eagle Wings and Little Bear Claw earned the blue feather for reciting the six aims. They have both now earned all 7 first-year feathers.

2006 finished on a strong note. Blooming flower earned her red feather by naming all of the members of the tribe. Several were done from memory as our group was rather light tonight. As a craft, the tribe decorated cookies. After the meeting, we took the cookies to the local fire station to say "happy holidays" and "thanks". The tribe was treated to a great tour of the station while we were there.

Additional feathers were earned today. Water Lilly earned her red feather for knowing and saying all of the tribe member names. Fuzzy Kitty earned a blue feather for repeating the AIMS and a turquosie feather for reciting the pledge. All of the hard work is paying off.

At tonight's meeting of the Dancing Turtles Tribe, every member of the tribe was awarded his or her yellow feather for completing a 2-mile hike at the Fall Outing.

Two additional feathers were awarded at the meeting. Eagle Wings and Little Bear Claw each earned an orange feather for arranging a night off for mom. Eagle Claw also earned his orange feather for his contribution.
